A chat-room for cancer survivors?

Now in remission from pancreatic cancer (I'm one of the only 4% who survive it!), I am now about to return to work in two days for the first time in four years, as Social Security has cutoff my disability payments and my doctors have approved my return to work.

It had destroyed me physically, and I am genuinely fearful to re-enter the world of the living. Unable to afford psychological counseling, is there a chatrooom of cancer-survivors where I can get some 'pep talk?' Not only am I about to work again, but my marriage of twenty-six years is collapsing (she is embittered by having had to care for me hand-and-foot the three years I was bedridden). The two things combined, one good and the other bad, are a shock to my spirit!

And, how does one enter a chatroom? Thanx, Yahoo-ers!

4%! Congratulations. You can join the ACOR list for pancreatic cancer http://acor.org/types.html (The server is down today for maintenance so try tomorrow.) This will connect you with people who are going through treatment.

You are a fighter and you will do GREAT!! I do not know of any chat rooms, but you might want to look at Voc. Rehab. Maybe a pastor or someone like that may be of help too. Good change or bad change is change and hard on ones body, mind and soul.
