The first answer is not really true. If you are 11 years old, there are many programs in the U.S. for insurance coverage.

Here is a link from the Illinois program, it has links to programs in other states:

Don't worry about the finances...that's not your concern.

DO NOT think that your parents would be better off without you. If you are feeling sad or depressed talk to your parents, if you feel you can't, then talk to a counselor at school. Talk to someone...this is important and let them know how you are feeling. Concentrate on getting better.

To the person below me. Your so-called treatments are unproven, unevaluated, and not appropriate information, for someone who is rather anxious about her situation.

Hi Honey, Things have a way of working out. You need to believe that and try to get better no matter what. You're sweet to worry, but as a parent myself, I would do anything to help my son. Let your parents take the burden. They are much more experienced at it, trust me! I know you must be scared, but you need to focus on yourself and don't worry about cancer. You need to be thinking positive right now.

Hi Try herbal medicine my stepdad had cancer years ago and got over it. Tell your parents you need the following and then research them on the internet. Red clover blossoms, a very good herb 2 Essiac tea, a proven cure. 3 antioxidants such as CoQ10, Green tea extract, and you need to eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables . Stop eating takeaways and sweets and processed foods.. I have so much more info so just let ur parents know and they can make contact with me and i will pass on what i know. good luck and God bless.

Awwwwwww

:(...

Are you SURE this is what's going on with your health?!

If you are certain that you have this, and I will say prayers for you.....tell your folks to go buy some apricot seeds. They are also called laitril, or vitamin B17.

You should be able to get them at a healthfood store, but it may be dificult to get them.

They are kind of expensive. Like 7 dollars for a bag. They look like almonds but they are NOT almonds.

Eat them....5 or so a day, until the bag is empty/ Keep buying these and keep seeing the doc, and say your prayers.....ok?

HUGS to you!

I am sorry sweetheart. But don't feel like this is your fault, and don't even think you are a burden or that they don't want you. pray and ask God for help, and maybe there is some kind of financial assistance your parents can get with your special situation.

Bless you darling, I will pray for you and your family!
