Hey, for the past 2 months, I have been having ongoing symptoms of throat cancer including a lump in the throat, a change in my voice (e.g hoarseness, change in the pitch and sound of my voice) ear pain in both ears, neck pain on both sides of neck, difficulty swallowing food and a tickly cough.

But recently I have noticed that the lymph nodes in my neck are matted together, on one side, there is a cluster of little lymph nodes stick together, however I can move them about, but they move as a group. I have also noticed two attached lymph nodes on the other side of my neck.

As well as this, I have been having pains under my armpit, and having other complications such as chest pain, stomach pain, digestive problems and constipation.

I am really concerned that it is throat cancer that has metastasized to other parts of my body causing these symptoms. doctors tell me that my lymph nodes don't feel swollen and that throat cancer is unlikely in my age as I am a 22 year old non smoker. but what could be causing this selection of symptoms?! everywhere I've looked, matted lymph nodes indicate cancer spread?

If it was throat cancer which had spread then you would be very ill and not able to eat or swollow and probably dead by now, it sounds like a throat infection or some type of allergy, go and ask doctor but stop worrying, I have the throat problem today and i am a smoker but i know it is an infection as almost everyone I know has had it over past few weeks, Good Luck

There are a lot of things that can make your throat hurt, and cancer is actually known for NOT being painful. Go to the MD - you need to have throat checked out. It could be something as simple as a strained throat muscle or infection, but get it looked at.

If you were really concerned you would be seeing a doctor and not looking on the internet.

Your story doesn’t make a lot of sense so I would have to say seeking attention is the cause of your problems.
