It would depend on where the lumps are. on the front of your neck could be thyroid, on the sides lymph glands. See a doctor. if they are new and have grown fast see a doctor tomorrow!!!!!

Make her go to the doctor. Force her to go for her own sake. It could be a local infection, or cancer, but the sooner she finds out what it is, the better the prognosis.

Maybe goiters, maybe tumors. This person needs to see a doctor. This is not the place for speculation on this kind of thing.

what ever seems not normal should always be checked out by a physician. Regardless of what you might pressume it to be the faster you have it diagnosed the better the out come for treatment.

depends on the location of the lumps -- could be lymph nodes, salivary glands, or thyroid

have it evaluated by an ear, nose and throat specialist (otolaryngologist)

Cysts, lipomas, thyroid tumors, any number of things. She needs to see a doctor for tests.
