No that is not true, but eating ice all of the time to the extent it is bothersome to those around you is called pica.
You will end up anemic and malnurished if you keep it up.

No, eating ice does not give a person cancer. But, many people with cancer chew ice. It's a form of pica, many people who will are low on iron chew on ice. Many people that have cancer or other diseases have low hemoglobin.Hemoglobin deficiency will give people the urge to chew ice.

There is no evidence to support that eating too much ice could cause cancer.

ice is water. water doesnt give us cancer. if water gave us cancer, we would all be cancered filled because most of body is made up of water. the only thing you can get from water, is poisoning or bacteria from drinking bad water. so if you have to drink out off a creek, river, or lake, make sure you boil it first. no need to fret over cancer from eating too much ice.

No, unless the ice had a cancer causing substance. I've never known frozen water to be cancerous.

If through the act of eating the ice, you are destroying any cells, then I suppose to could VERY VERY VERY marginally increase your chance of getting cancer. The increased rate would be so marginal that it's not even worth thinking about.
Short answer: No.

No. Eating ice, frozen water, will NOT give you cancer. Ice is neutral with no side effects, especially when made from pure water.

absolutley not!Cancer is a group of more than 100 different diseases. Cancer occurs when cells become abnormal and keep dividing and forming more cells without control or order.
All organs of the body are made up of cells. Normally, cells divide to produce more cells only when the body needs them. This orderly process helps keep us healthy.
If cells keep dividing when new cells are not needed, a mass of tissue forms. This mass of extra tissue, called a growth or tumor, can be benign or malignant.

I have not heard this myth. The ice would have to made from water with carcinogens in it. Ice is just water. How much ice are we talking.

I'm not 100% sure that the link between food / cancer has been proved but I remember that one of the most famous american ice cream producer is dead because of eating too much ice.
However the cause of the death was not cancer but brobably hearth attack because caused of high level of fat (cream) and sugar in the blood and things related to that.

Cancer is caused by your cells dividing way too quickly. unless ice causes your cells to divide too quickly then no ice doesnt cause cancer.

No, but compulsive eating ice can actually mean an iron deficiency which can lead to severe anemia. I know this sounds a bit weird, but it is true, It is called pica.
Check out the website.

No, unless your have ice from fast food restaurants, studies have shown that ice can be more nasty than toilet water. I still don't think you could get cancer from it, but who knows?
