Hello all. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and the doctor said that I would need 4 cycles of chemo.
After the first cycle my tumor markers decrease by 50% so I was very very happy.
The doctor was also very happy and he said he highly doubts that I'd need another surgery.
Anyway, I was wondering how people change their diet after cancer. Do you return to how you usually ate, do you have to have a special diet, or do you just modify the diet a little?
Thanks :)

When I was in treatment I ate whatever I could that wouldn't make me sick but tried to focus on healthy foods and also started juicing. Today 13 years after surviving Hodgkin's Lymphoma-3b I still eat a low fat, low salt, NO white sugar, high fiber diet. Before I got sick I had a candy store and ate allot of sugar and bad stuff. I still drink fresh juices 4-5 days a week (carrot, apple, beet, parsley juice--it's yummy) and try to avoid all red and blue food dyes. I work in a biology research lab, so I am very familiar with cell biology and the damaging effects of chemicals and blood oxidants. I hope to live many more years to come. Best Wishes with your treatments.

treatments might desire to be those stated via his scientific team, not ones you have accrued from strangers with doubtful awareness on the information superhighway. weight loss software should not be altered for the time of therapy different than below the suggestion of his treating Drs. There are no ingredients that treatment maximum cancers and a few ingredients can intervene with some treatments. The Dr might have discused something this is mandatory with your boyfriend. in case you're close eough to your boyfriend that that's good to accomplish that which you will possibly desire to ask if youcan accompany him to the Dr so which you will ask any questions of that suitable source.
